Annual Safety Testing & Calibration

Annual safety inspection and performance calibration conducted in accordance with AS/NZS 3551 — the Australian standard for the management of medical electrical equipment. This scheduled program verifies that each device remains electrically safe and operates within its specified performance limits.

Testing is performed with calibrated instruments and documented in a compliant report suitable for hospital biomedical engineering records, accreditation audits, and insurance evidence.

What's included: protective earth continuity, enclosure & patient leakage current measurement, insulation resistance, functional performance verification, calibration adjustment where required, and an issued AS/NZS 3551 test certificate per device.
